two little bells was launched in October 2011. We both needed a hobby when we moved back to our small hometown after graduating from college and liked the idea of documenting and sharing what we were wearing every day. But our story goes way back to 1999, when we met in the sixth grade. We’ve been close friends ever since!

Sarah Beth (also known as sbk!) graduated from Davidson College as an English major in 2010. She’s currently working as a grant writer at a community college in her hometown. She loves to read, watches way too many tv shows, and is kind of obsessed with her golden retriever. She drinks sweet tea by the gallon, is severely directionally challenged, and collects (hoards) many things including vintage clutches, rap music, and houseplants.

Cait is a graduate [survivor?] of Virginia Tech’s architecture school, and has always been fascinated by any and all things design-related. For now, she’s the PR lady at the private secondary school she graduated from, but gets to use her degree by doing some freelancing on the side, hooray! She’s a probable future cat lady, has a bit of a lead foot, is potentially a little too sarcastic, and adores music and cheese in any form.

two little bells highlights our economical sense of style – we both love to thrift shop, raid our mothers’ closets, and/or bargain shop like there’s no tomorrow. Sometimes we’ll share sewing, cooking, or other diy-type projects too!
