Nothing is worse than working on a holiday when pretty much everyone else is most definitely not working. In fact, most everybody at work ended up still taking the day off even though we weren’t officially closed, so I took this opportunity to protest my work day by wearing denim. And drove home after work through neighborhoods thick with the smell of cookouts. Oh well, in just a few weeks I’ll be at the beach (!) for a much needed break.
