duchess on a dime

  • dress: Worthington via JCPenney Outlet
  • shoes: Call It Spring via JCPenney Outlet
  • belt: thrifted
  • clutch: vintage Etienne Aigner (thrifted)

When I first tried on this dress, I thought, “Oh good, now I look like a neutral colored candy corn.” But then I added the belt and shoes and thought, “Oh snap, I’m a bargain shopping Kate Middleton goddess.” This is one of my most color coordinated, cheapest outfits to date. Price breakdown: dress: $19.99, clutch: $2, shoes: $10.99, & belt: $1. I’ve been dyingggg for a pair of nude colored heels since the first time I saw Kate wearing hers (which she does frequently). (Mine aren’t LK Bennet, but then my father-in-law doesn’t give me 35,000 pounds a year for my wardrobe so I think I did pretty good considering.) Also, can everyone take a minute to appreciate the butter soft new vintage clutch I found?? I’ve asked all my immediate family members to admire it multiple times - what can I say? It’s love.
