ode to a skirt

  • top: Target
  • skirt: DKNY
  • sandals: Seychelles
  • necklace: self-made
  • earrings: gift

How do I love thee, ridiculously purple zebra striped skirt? Let me count the ways… firstly, you fit better than any skirt I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. Ever. I want to dissect you and make a pattern from your pieces so I can create ten thousand equally perfectly fitted skirts in your likeness. Second, not only are you ridiculously purple, but you’re also ridiculously zebra striped. Which I generally am not a fan of, but the purple elevates it from random animal print to something more abstract/geometric/acceptable. And y’all know how much I love my sometimes over the top patterns :D Lastly, you were a steal. 75% off retail price? That’s like Goodwill pricing, which is how everything should be priced, right?!
