I’ve been meaning to get my glasses updated since I had my eyes checked back in December (I usually wear contacts). Finally got around to it just recently. And as luck would have it, I was running really late today (late as in my shoe’s ankle straps suddenly seemed time consuming and I had to throw a muffin in my bag and skedaddle, late). So the glasses made an unexpected appearance out in public. I feel rather bookish in them, which I guess is appropriate.
