We are having a serious bumper crop of acorns this year! I thought I was going to fall trying to walk across the yard to get these pictures. The road in some sections has a carpet of crushed acorn shells. I’ve had a habit of collecting acorns since I was little - they’re in my car, on my dresser, around my bathroom sink, in my desk drawers at work. Google tells me that acorns are historically a symbol of luck, prosperity, youthfulness, and power so I guess this is a good obsession? And in other news tomorrow is Friday and I’m going camping for the weekend! Can’t wait to chill in my hammock!
