It’s been 24 hours of emotional highs. This afternoon I went to the graduation celebration for a training program we have that I’ve written many grants for. It really means a lot to me to get to see the faces of people I’m trying to help, to say oh hey, this is what all this stress is about. Now rewind to last night - I’m dog/house sitting and bolt awake at 3:30am and the power has gone out and the house (at the end of a dead end street) is pitch black and all I could hear was creaking noises in the house and the wind outside. Naturally, I assumed trained assassins must be in the hallway to kill me. But I lived to get up and get dressed and tell the tale. Here’s hoping the power stays on tonight.
