I was thinking a lot today about that quote “comparison is the thief of joy.” It’s so easy to fall for that trap. I constantly find myself thinking “why would that guy like me when he could date any other girl?” Or “why would they even consider hiring me when they could get any of those other people?” (Side note: perfect people like these two really don’t help matters.) But then I just have to tell that little voice to hush. I can only do my best. And as my mama tells me, “you hold your head up high because you’re just as good as everybody else.” Cue inspirational theme song.
