So good news - I found my ring!! It was under the seat of my car, near the door. It seems like a miracle that it didn’t fly onto the ground. A happy dance ensued. In other news, it may not look like it, but it is coldddd again. A sleeveless silk shirt under a pretty thin cardigan was probably a poor choice.

Can I just say how much I stinking love these wedges? They’re Danskos, so they’re pretty much the most comfortable/most supportive shoes ever. Plus they move seamlessly from a work dress to skinny jeans. It was a good thing I wore them today because I spent most of the afternoon walking between buildings, moving the contents of my desk to my new office. I have a lot of organizing to do but it’s exciting to have a new and bigger space to do it in!

I’m always scared to wear this shirt because it’s special, my mom paid a lot for it for my 22nd birthday, and it’s silk. I never want to wear it out with friends because I have horror images of tomato sauce and beer/wine flowing in slow motion towards it. But I decided life is too short to save it, and today was the day to show it off. And I just got this skirt this past weekend. It was a horrible calf length so mom hemmed it for me and made it a nice professional yet more fashionable length. She also pressed it nicely for me, but some things just don’t last as long as you’d like..

A very late post today because tumblr has been thwarting my attempts at uploading photos for several hours. Despite my general dislike of shirts with elastic bottoms, I love this anthro shirt, particularly the lacework around the top. Can’t wait for summer to come around so I can wear it alone in all its glory once again. And my sweet little Ruche watch necklace still makes me pretty happy. A comfy, chill outfit for a relaxed day in the office.

My shirt turned out looking rather purple/black in these shots, but it’s actually navy. I’m happy that several of my outfit pieces are thrifted today, since I actually went thrifting. I found a nice new (to me) winter coat for only $9.99! Now if only it would cooperate and be colder than sixty degrees and I’ll get a chance to show it off on here. Hope everyone’s having a great weekend.
