Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all! Here’s a somewhat themed outfit for today… not sure I’m sold on the scarf but it was coooold this morning and this seemed like a good idea at the time, haha. Best pertinent quote I saw today: “Today is the best day of the year to put a diaper and wings on your baby and give it a small bow and arrow to carry around.” Demetri Martin is my fave… he can be my valentine :D

I’ve been wearing skirts and dresses for so long that my pants were feeling neglected… time to mix it up a bit. Plus my office is always really cold… I’ve always thought it’s kind of ironic how we dress for what the weather is outside when I sit at a desk in a highly air conditioned room for most of the day. This shirt is new to me, courtesy of my sister… it’s awesome that we share/trade clothes peacefully now [for the most part…], since our usual tactic used to be stealing each other’s clothes until the other one noticed and demanded it back, haha.

This outfit’s really basic, but I think out of all the ways I’ve worn this skirt recently, it may be my favorite. It’s been stiflingly hot all week long [and last week too], so of course when I decide to wear a sleeveless top, it turns cooler. Not that I’m complaining; today is one of those days where it’s a crime to be inside… so pretty!

Right about the time I decided to take pictures, it decided to start raining/storming… luckily I wasn’t all the way outside or I would have been drenched in about three seconds. This outfit actually looks pretty similar to what I wore last time I took pictures here… weird. I can’t decide if the bows on the top are too much, but I kinda like them regardless :D

This is what I wore today, but below is what I really wanted to wear… got a little carried away and took pictures of both outfits :D I guess I’ll just have to borrow this top again and actually wear this for real, haha. Feels a bit more summery to me.

Probably a good thing I didn’t wear this since it was super windy today, though; the skirt wasn’t dealing too well with it in the five minutes it took me to take a couple of fotos. The waterfall braid did a pretty good job of keeping my hair out of my face, and it’s a lot easier to do than it looks… bonus!
