This skirt and these shoes have been in my closet for foreva eva. As in, I can remember standing in biology class junior year of school wearing these shoes. And you know what that little charm is on my necklace? A tiny book that doubles as a locket. My brother knows his sister. Hope everyone had a nice Tuesday and managed to keep dry.

Another lazy day outfit for a really dreary day, but at least since it was cooler I got another opportunity to wear these boots! Aw yeahhh :) My bracelet collection is growing… I think I’ve discovered the trick - buy bracelets that coordinate easier with each other. Now I might actually wear them?!

Today was another day that felt like Friday all day… also another pretty busy day - they seem to be getting marginally less busy by the day, though [marginally being the operative word]. As long as that continues to be the trend I think I’ll make it, ha. I’m so excited for this weekend! Gonna make a road trip to the beach to see some lovely college amigas :D

My neighbor’s azalea bush was in full bloom, so I sort of helped myself and borrowed the landscape for these pictures. I actually wore the jacket from this post most of the day, but it was finally warm enough when I left work to ditch it for the ride home. I had a really nice evening involving Mexican food and a walk by the river after work today. And I’m reading this book, which is really good - the chic-lit style cover doesn’t do it justice!

It was a chilly Monday (temps have been down in the 30s at night!) but I actually wore this a couple weeks ago and never got around to posting. This skirt was one of my favorites last year and I think that will continue to hold true this season. My grandparents are visiting for a few days so I’m spending the evening eating cookies and watching HGTV with them. Not a bad way to spend a Monday.

I had three long meetings today, including one with the CEO of the hospital, so I didn’t actually accomplish much of my desk work. Also, have you guys seen this yet? It’s so true that we’re often our worst critic. I love the message to be kind to yourself because it’s true - you’re more beautiful than you think.

I’m always excited to have lunch with Caitlin, especially when I get to take pictures before the end of the day. I had a pretty productive day at work, which included a phone call with a guy from the National Endowment for the Arts about a proposal I wrote a few months ago. Also, I officially finished going through my closet and have all my summer clothes organized and ready to go for the season.

You know what really makes me happy? Being able to leave for work in the morning with bare legs and short sleeves and not being cold at any point during the day. It’s so wonderful :D Two days in a row too!? I also really like my new sandals I bought last week…. get ready, you’ll probably be seeing them a lot soon!

Well, Caitlin and I inadvertently went for a thrifted theme today when we met for lunch and pictures because I also have a heavily thrift shopped outfit today. In other news, I had Mexican for both lunch and dinner today and I was pretty pleased about it. And I just finished this book, which I always remember my parents talking about, since one of their teachers got in trouble for assigning it to their class back in high school.

Back to the routine! I can’t believe it’s only about eight weeks until graduation - and until summer hours, oh yeah. So excited for that :D and for warmer weather, too! We had a taste of that this weekend with temperatures close to 80 on Saturday, but naturally it’s back down in the 30s today. It’s basically spring now, right? There are daffodils blooming…
