I am very pleased to announce that our yearbooks have arrived and have been sorted and partially given out without tooo many mishaps! Well, except for people who paid for them but didn’t turn in a form so they didn’t get ordered, and people whose orders were inaccurate…. but those crises have been successfully resolved [fingers crossed]. This is something I’ll be quite excited to have out of my hair :D Getting closer!

Today was fairly busy, and involved some trips off campus, which is always good for making the day speed along! I’ve been putting together a sports brochure for the past week or so, and I think it’s mostly done as of this afternoon… hooray for progress! And now I plan on enjoying my weekend :D My mom was telling me about this huge antique/salvage store about a half an hour from home… thinking I might have to hit that up tomorrow!

It’s the weekend, hooray! Today was pretty uneventful, down to the outfit. At least it has some color, though :) Also, below is how I deal with a bad hair day [spoiler: not very effectively? It’s Friday and I’m lazy.]. Best part of the day? During yearbook, we ended up hooking up one of the kids’ computers to the projector and watched basketball for the entire time [or at least until the internet decided it wasn’t going to work anymore]. Sometimes it’s nice being in charge :D

What up, four day weekend!? As you may have surmised, I finally got a long-awaited snow day, so I shall blame my absence on that. It was a pretty good weekend for the most part, one of my lovely amigas from college came to visit and we went up to see a nail-biter of a basketball game on Saturday [which we won!! finallyyy a winning streak again! ha]. I did unfortunately have to say goodbye to my pony this weekend. I’m glad he was a part of my life for the last ten years… he was a good ‘un and I’m gonna miss him a lot. :(

You know, today was probably one of the best Mondays I’ve had in a long time [which for a Monday, especially, is saying a looottt]. I can’t really put my finger on a reason why, either, it was a pretty standard uneventful Monday…. but I am quite alright with days when I wake up on the right side of the bed, at least once I’m fully awake, haha. This is setting the standard for the rest of the week, I’m deciding… attitude is everything, right?!

I was lazy and re-wore my outfit from Monday today… I did rather enjoy it so I thought it’d be a shame to not get it on here at some point :D forgot the earrings though, sad face! They’re all dangly and match the shirt perfectly… I’ll have to get them on here soon. Today was a good day: I got to sleep late, I had the day off, and it was Mexican night with SB and Megan! Two more to go and then the weekend, oh yeahhh.

Another chilly dreary late fall day… at least I got to go watch Tech continue to have an undefeated team tonight! Our basketball team is actually not looking too shabby this year - this is especially exciting with the way football turned out. In other news, I still haven’t recovered from vacation last week…. I think this means I may need another one :D

Today was full of looking at lots and lots of furniture and accessories at Furniture Market [aka the interior design equivalent of NY fashion week]…. remind me again why I didn’t major in interior design?! Sigh… maybe I’ll be able to get into that eventually :D I took a bunch of fotos so you may be seeing a post on that soon!

Geez… feels like ages since I’ve actually done a proper outfit post. This week, we have three away games, so it’ll probably be sparse the rest of the week unless I get my act together and get ahead tomorrow on my day off. Then again, I might go shopping. Or sleep till I have to go to the game tomorrow. I like that last option :D PS gotta give a shoutout to my baby sister - she turns 22 today!! …That makes me feel really old, haha.

So when did it become all right for late summer to fast-forward into fall? This grey area where the seasons overlap a bit is a little tricky. You should stick around longer, summer, mainly so I don’t have the opportunity to wear cardigans in August…. that’s only acceptable if you live in Alaska or somewhere in the Southern Hemisphere, and I’m pretty sure I live in neither of those places.
