I’m freeeeeeeeee! Two and a half weeks of no work! So excited :D SBK and I are debuting another ‘two different ways to wear it’ [yeah, we don’t have an official name for this, haha] - today’s selection is black skinny jeans and cowboy boots. I’m going with the purple and yellow complementary color choice, oh yeahhh. I’m a fan of this sunny yellow scarf, almost as much as I am of this sunny weather that finally decided to come back :D

I wore this Friday, too, but didn’t get around to putting it up till today… we started working on Christmas baking, so I was in the kitchen for a while making shortbread :D Stay tuned for that recipe, it’s pretty tasty [probably because it has two sticks of butter in it, ha]! Oh, and here are the earrings I was talking about the other day… went a little overboard with the jewelry today I think!

I love rando/slightly sketchy photo locations like this! SB and I got lunch at this awesome tiny pizza place this afternoon that’s in a strip mall with a Food Lion, so we decided to venture around behind the building near the loading dock to take fotos [fewer observers of our narcissism, right?!] Didn’t hurt that there was this fun barrier/fence thing that was just crying out for someone to climb on it… which I was powerless to resist :D

It’s December, right? Because based on these pictures it could easily be September, or May, or sometime when the temperatures are in the 70s… don’t let the jacket fool you, it was warm today! I even cut on the ac at work?! Not that I’m complaining of course :D Now if I had a little bit more daylight to work with for these photos… sounds like a constant theme huh?

This skirt hasn’t made an appearance in a while, so I thought I’d try to give it one last hurrah for the year… good thing I was inside all day, because this is definitely not meant to be worn when it’s cold outside. Oh well, I tried! This is also the last time you’re gonna see me with long hair for a while… I haven’t determined how short I’m gonna go, but it’s gonna be quite a bit I’m thinking. In other news, I’m getting ready to meet SBK & Meg for our weekly Mexican food fix! Always one of the highlights of the week :D

- cardigan, tshirt, & corduroys: Target
- moccasins: Minnetonka
SBK and I decided to both style our outfits around a cardigan [coincidentally, the color is the same, although we didn’t decide to do that haha], so you’ll get to see her version in a bit! This is a casual outfit that’s also extremely comfortable, which is pretty much my recipe for a good outfit for a day off :D I also ran out of contacts, so you get a rare look at me with my glasses on… I like my glasses but they give me a headache when I wear them all day… not cool.

Happy Friday, y’all! I think this is the shortest list of clothes in a post thus far… probably because I was running late this morning and didn’t go for any extras. I got this cardigan last weekend when I hit up the Target clearance section. It’s one I’ve been eyeing for a while, but now I’m glad I waited since I got it for half price :D Hey, sometimes patience does pay off!?
