In retrospect, I suppose I should have worn this to graduation tomorrow, since it’s all school colors. I did always like that color combination. Too bad an outfit like this wouldn’t have passed for rep dress… I would have been a much happier camper. But let’s be real, I didn’t dress up all that much in high school anyway; I was more of the jeans + hoodie all day erryday persuasion. Thank goodness I outgrew that!

Today was another busy day, but made better by getting Mexican for lunch with SB, and again for dinner at a trade show I had to work tonight! Any day with multiple Mexican meals is a good one in my book :D Also, any day involving spontaneous dance parties at said trade shows makes it pretty awesome too! I’m so glad tomorrow’s Friday, because it sure seemed like it should have been Friday today. But Monday and Tuesday felt like they were swapped, so I guess it’s just been one of those weird weeks where your days never seem to match up for whatever reason.

Today was another day that felt like Friday all day… also another pretty busy day - they seem to be getting marginally less busy by the day, though [marginally being the operative word]. As long as that continues to be the trend I think I’ll make it, ha. I’m so excited for this weekend! Gonna make a road trip to the beach to see some lovely college amigas :D

One day closer to the weekend! SB, Meg, and I all met up for our more or less weekly Mexican night, which was a definite improvement on my day - trying to track down loads of information from loads of different people to put together a brochure by next Tuesday is a little stressful, but hopefully everything will come together in the end :D

You know what really makes me happy? Being able to leave for work in the morning with bare legs and short sleeves and not being cold at any point during the day. It’s so wonderful :D Two days in a row too!? I also really like my new sandals I bought last week…. get ready, you’ll probably be seeing them a lot soon!

It’s December, right? Because based on these pictures it could easily be September, or May, or sometime when the temperatures are in the 70s… don’t let the jacket fool you, it was warm today! I even cut on the ac at work?! Not that I’m complaining of course :D Now if I had a little bit more daylight to work with for these photos… sounds like a constant theme huh?

I know y’all have just been dying to see what I wear when we have volleyball games, so today is your lucky day [sort of.. if it was 100% accurate I’d be wearing pants instead of shorts]! We didn’t have a game today, but since it was homecoming I felt compelled to somewhat look the part. This is kind of a throwback to when we had to wear rep dress before games in high school, although I think I much prefer this to what we actually had to wear - that, my friends, is something you will not be seeing me wearing ever again… I did my time in that department :D

I stole this outfit idea from here. I also stole the way of tying my belt off Pinterest, too, and wish I’d discovered that a while ago, because it’s my new favorite thing… completely avoids having to punch extra holes in your extra long belts! And it kinda looks like a sword, which is always exciting, right?? Today was ridiculously chaotic… I had to end up going in on my off day to help orchestrate press releases to go out about our new head of school, but it’s cool because that means I get to sleep in tomorrow instead :D I’ll take whatever I can get at this point!

It’s starting to get cold, y’all. Like upper 40s in the morning cold. Which I know isn’t really thaaat cold, but I gotta get back into that mindset of expecting it first! One thing about this time of year that’s so wonderful is how the humidity magically disappears… if the weather was like this all year I’d be happy. Maybe a little warmer in the afternoons, but cool nights are my fave :D
